what is weird art mpls?

Weird Art MPLS is the combined creative effort of Edie Rose and Anna Hoover. Weird Art MPLS’s services fall into three umbrella categories:

  • Weird Art Presents is a series of art fairs and craft markets curated and coordinated by Edie and Anna. These events hope to uplift other Weird Artists: any artist who does not precisely “fit in.”

  • Make Weird Art is a series of creative classes and workshops lead by Edie Rose and Anna Hoover. Both Edie and Anna approach art through a therapeutic lens, creating an uplifting and healing environment.

  • The Weird Artist Collective is currently only comprised of Edie Rose and Anna Hoover, but we hope to expand to include other Weird Artists as our project grows.

We are hard at work cooking up some exciting new projects! Weird Art MPLS expects to have a hard launch in late 2025 with a brand-new host of events, classes, and curated gallery showings.
